For March, our AP Creator of the Month is Sloan Rapture! ✨
Sloan Rapture has been spreading her holes, running her mouth and making a wet mess of the adult industry since 2016. Her work aims to explore the vast spectrum of pleasure, sex, eroticism, philosophy, freedom — and what our predetermined ideas of those concepts really mean.
Let’s get to know Sloan! 🥰
How’d you get into creating adult content?
I got into smut creating partially through camming, and partially because I was already exploring self portraiture. For awhile it had played on my mind how important I think it is for people to see others in uninhibited, vulnerable, & honest states of being. Since I was already pretty comfortable with nudity I figured I could be someone who shared themself in that light, hoping it would resonate with others.
What’s your favorite content that you’ve shot?
My favourite work is always either the messy stuff, the bound stuff, or the stuff that plays more thematically with my personal interests. Specifically, I really like the hysterical literature I did, and the super sloppy video where I get bullied by Syenite & Vonka.
If you make customs, what’s the weird request you’ve received and did you shoot it?
I do customs, but the only requests that stand out in my mind as ‘weird’ are the ones where someone thinks that I can fit 7 kinks, 5 positions, and half an hours worth of dialogue into 5 minutes. THAT is weird to me. I do really like more kink oriented customs though, especially ones that I don’t usually explore myself. Most recently I’ve done some roleplays to do with sleeping which always feels a little taboo and exciting.
What do you like about using AP Clips as a platform?
I love the team and how safe/cared for I feel on this site. It’s important to me that I feel this site mirrors my values. I’ve used AP Clips since 2016 when I first started and it’s one of few platforms I’ve remained loyal to. The tiered payout percentage is a nice touch as well.
What are five words to describe your brand?
Filthy, playful, raw, chaotic, & WET.
Has your brand evolved since you started? If so, how?
It definitely has evolved, or at least has become refined. I was freshly 20 when I started and although I’d taken the time to contemplate what I wanted to embody and share with my smut, it’s not like I had the experience or the self awareness under my belt that I have now. While I’m still pretty open-minded in terms of what I want to explore, I am more secure in my preferences and abilities. I think collaborating with others has evolved my work too in really wonderful ways, ways you can’t really do if you don’t connect with pleasure beyond your own.
What’s your trick to balancing your daily life?
I am a chaos-mongerer so unfortunately I can offer no life-balancing-tricks haha. I am just riding the waves & trying my best to flow rather than flounder against currents.
What are your go-to TV shows to binge watch?
I binge anime more than anything. I’ve recently revisited some favourites like Kakegurui, Paranoia Agent, & Fullmetal Alchemist.
What’s a meme you’d use to describe yourself?
Do you have any advice for creators who are just starting?
The adult content game has changed so, so, so so, so much since I started. I think it’s important to know what you really have to offer in terms of your own energy and authenticity – so that you don’t burn out, and so that you can stand by your own boundaries. There’s so much free information to read and consider, particularly to do with cyber security, that I think is important to take into consideration. More than anything, I think it’s crucial if you’re just starting now to understand the political censorship that content creation is up against at this point. Sexworkers will always find new ways to exist and thrive, but if you don’t realize just what you’re up against it can be really crushing when you’re deplatformed, shadowbanned, etc. Be consistent, and know that no one can truly take your pleasure away from you, and that there is value in sharing that pleasure with others.
