Collaborating with other models to create content can be fun and rewarding for both of you, but it’s important to be careful and make it a positive experience for everyone involved!
Safety first
Before collaborating with another model, make sure that you each have current test results that you’re willing to show each other. If you haven’t met before, sometimes it’s more comfortable to meet in a public place for coffee before getting down to business. Exchanging ID information is also very important‘so that you can independently verify each other’s age and identity. We also strongly recommending both parties fill out Model Release forms and/or consent agreement forms. This way, you’re all protected from any future legal issues if one party wants the content removed from a given platform but the other does not.
Here is a good sample Model Release Form.
Consent is sexy
Before shooting, make sure you’re on the same page about what you want to create! This is important in any shoot, but can be especially crucial when you’re planning on any sort of BDSM or fetish play. You’ll have more fun if you’re clear about limits and in turn your audience will see how comfortable you are with each other.
Distribution Considerations
Sometimes it can help for creators collaborating with each other to agree on a price point for the content they make together, so that neither party is pricing the other out. This can vary depending on what each party is comfortable with, but it’s always a good discussion to have before your content goes live!
