“Suicide prevention and crisis intervention training is crucial in raising awareness and equipping our community to address mental health crises,” said Pineapple Support founder and CEO Leya Tanit. “This training will empower models and support staff to recognize signs of distress and intervene effectively. By fostering a supportive and informed community, we can save lives. Our priority isn’t just about preventing tragedy; it’s about strengthening our bonds and ensuring everyone feels supported. Together, we can create a safer, more resilient environment within the adult industry.

“With several recent losses, this event is more important than ever,” Tanit added. “It’s a time to come together, gain knowledge and support one another. This training will give you the tools to recognize warning signs, offer help and make a difference in someone’s life. Whether you’re a performer, producer, or part of any facet of the industry, your presence and participation are invaluable.”

We never cease to be humbled by the amazing services Pineapple Support provides for our community. To see the PS volunteers in action today was genuinely inspiring & so very special for our team. So proud we could be part of this amazing day 💙🙏🍍🦄
Thank you, Pineapple Support, Leya Tanit, Hernando Chaves, Renee Olstead, and Nicoletta Heideger for putting on a much needed outreach event for our industry and allowing us to hold this space.
